Whilst most of our teams are happy to play in the normal competition, some of our teams like to push themselves that one step further and compete in the Football NSW State Cup Tournament.

Our U13 Division 1, U15 Division 1, U17 Division 1 and Intermediate Mens teams all competed against a range of clubs and teams Sydney wide in the first round.

Matt Teuma’s U13 boys won their first round match against North Sydney. They then travelled to Port Kembla for their second round match versus Port Kembla Junior Football Club. Unfortunately the boys’ journey stopped here in a second round defeat.

Brad Diplock’s U15 boys had a tough battle against Earlwood Wanderers in the first round and unfortunately could not come away with the win.

The U17 boys made their coach Grant Cullen very proud during their first round match against St Mary's Eagle Vale Soccer Club. The game was an intense one, going to extra time and then into penalty shoot-out. Unfortunately St Marys Eagle Vale came away with the win.

The Intermediate Men’s travelled to Shellharbour for their first round match against Wollongong United Football club. In a gripping contest the boys defeated Wollongong 3-1 to advance to the next round. Unfortunately the boys were defeated in a 5-3 match against Balmain & District Football Club.

Well done to all teams and players. You have represented our club with pride and have made us all very proud of you.

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” – Pelé
